Most people already know that registry cleaners can greatly increase the speed (not to mention the stability) of your computer system.
However, sometimes running a registry cleaner isn’t enough.
This is where Adware removers come in.
But before we get into that, lets talk a little bit about why running a registry cleaner program is extremely important when it comes to fixing and speeding up your sluggish PC.
As we exposed in our in-depth registry cleaner reviews on our site, a registry cleaner is vital when it comes to fixing and speeding up your PC because it will diagnose and fix any errors that it finds in your windows registry.
And trust me, errors and inefficiencies within your windows registry is one of the main causes of error messages, lock ups, crashes, and poor performance.
So before you worry about anything else, you have to first start by cleaning up and registry repair (and trust me, just about any windows registry I have ever seen, contained at least SOME sort of error).
There are several registry cleaner applications that are also capable of scanning the rest of your PC too (at least all of the good ones are, that is).
They will find and fix hard drive file issues, broken short cuts, and much more. They can also go through your entire startup menu, and then optimize that too (which means blocking unnecessary programs from start up when you turn your computer on).
Believe it or not, the startup menu is one of the biggest causes of a slow performing PC, since it will typically over load your system tray with a ton of programs that you don’t need to have running 24/7. This uses up all of your RAM/memory in a hurry, and bogs your computer down (and can even cause it to crash entirely).
However, sometimes running windows registry cleaner software is not enough; if your PC is loaded up with Spyware and Adware (which most are), then you are still going to run into annoying problems with your computer (especially with your internet browser, since that is what most of the Adware programs specifically target). This is where Adware removal programs come into play.
Any good Adware program will easily find any Adware, Spyware, Trojans, Worms, and many other types of malicious software that may be installed on your PC.
The registry cleaning software then permanently delete it, or in some cases “quarantine” it, based on what you tell it to do (which can be handy if you are uncertain whether a particular file is really a threat or not).
